Each member contributes one URL for the group to social bookmark. That URL goes into a database and is displayed randomly on the members page. Each member is obligated to bookmark three random URLS a week, each to three or four social bookmarking sites. We advocate the use of socialmarker.com to speed up this process. This URL can be changed any time the member wishes, so that social bookmarks and one way links can be given to ALL the pages in your site. Or you can switch to another domain. Optionally, members can suggest TAGS for their bookmarks. Web2.0 is all about being social! |

Here's A Secret About Social Bookmarking most people don't know!
Many of the social bookmarking services have now added a rel="nofollow" tag to the link back to your site. That means that the search engines never see your link!!! Your social bookmark will NOT result in a one way link back to your site.
The info in your bookmark WILL still help search engines in judging your importance for page ranking, but you get no one way links.
We use SocialMarker.com because it allows us to pick only those sites that DO give you a backlink.
Socialmarker allows members to quickly and easily leave bookmarks on several of the sites that do NOT use that nasty nofollow tag. You WILL get backlinks from high PR sites.
We recommend that each URL be bookmarked to 4 or more of those sites.
Suppose 20 members bookmark you site to 4 of the link granting sites. You'd get 80 backlinks! And if you had a five page site, and over time you input each page URL into the database, your 5 page website site could get 5 x 20 x 4 or
